To love God, love people, and create beautiful spaces.

Light and language, what it illuminates and what it does not, is the means in which I position my subjects in order to uncover the depths of an experience and a moment in time.
Through the mediums of photography and writing I seek out the still moments of life by drawing your attention to the world around you, highlighting the mundane, transitional, and stretching process of life through subjects of nature, the environments in which I am placed, and the intimacy of my own home.
The pursuit of still moments was born out of my upbringing in Brooklyn, New York and the stark contrast to my later youth in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; one that required me to be attentive to the changing environments that were occurring both outwardly and inwardly.
With place as an anchor I aim to recalibrate the viewer to an awareness of space.
Both my photography and writing takes on a narrative approach that is often emotionally expository and serves as an invitation to pay closer attention to the world we occupy and appreciate the beauty found in the everyday, and sometimes, unexpected places.

Born in Brooklyn and raised between there and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, she works to claim both spaces as her own. Within her practice, although the constant bustle and movement of New York would have lended itself as such, New York set the pace for slowness, and Bethlehem reinforced a new rhythm.
